This is my favorite restaurant in Colorado Springs. I moved here from Manhattan Beach, CA (Los Angeles) and I love the authenticity of their Mexican food. Huge portions for great prices!! Even better quality!!

Lord, help then stay in business through covid, because that place is delicious! I had a relleno and enchilada, my husband had a smoked green Chile burrito. Their chips and salsa were awesome too! Can't wait to order again!

Excellent and fast service. Margaritas are really good. It seems pricy but food is worth it.

We have been here a few times and have enjoyed the food here. Staff is friendly and helpful in menu choices. Having grown up in southern AZ I am fairly critical of Mexican food which is why I have it listed as 4 stars. This is one of the better locations here in Springs.

Delicious and friendly! Our service was awesome! Just enough attentiveness! The food was delicious and the kids were happy! Very cool atmosphere, which is always a plus. The restaurant was clean and can accommodate large parties and children! And get the original margarita...yum!

Friendly service. Large margaritas! Decent Mexican fare. We had two dinner suggestions by our server and two jalapeno margaritas. The prices are high for what we got. The neighborhood explains the prices. we will definitely come back.

Best burrito in town! My husband continues to try different plates and has loved every one, but I can’t go to Vaqueros without ordering the Steamboat Burrito. The ONLY reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I’ve had better margaritas. Now that’s not to say I’m not going to order a margarita when I visit, but the margaritas aren’t my favorite. However, the burrito will keep me visiting more often than my waistline will appreciate.

Delicious and flavorful Mexican food. From the homemade tasting tortilla chips and fresh salsa that is brought to your table, to the mango margarita, to the main dishes and desserts, everything was fresh and hot and yummy! Kind staff, extensive menu, great atmosphere. Check it out. We enjoyed nachos, Colorado chili, chimichangas, fried ice cream and sopapillas.

This spot never disappoints. They serve fresh food for affordable prices, there no long wait even when the spot is full.

This is where to go to get legit Mexican food. Alexa in the bar area always takes great care of us. Love carnitas special on Tuesday.

Before we left for a conference at a famous iresort in Colorado Springs we bought a groupon for Carlos Miguel’s Mexican Bar & Grill. It was fantastic! The restaurant was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, with a very friendly staff! We had fajitas that were so delicious that I’m inspired to try and recreate them at home. The only disappointment is we can’t make frequent visits from Ohio! We highly recommend this restaurant and will absolutely visit if we’re ever in Colorado Springs again!

Just moving here, my husband and I have tried so many places in the area to find “our” new Mexican spot. This place was nothing short of delicious! Met with friends there last night and our waitress was fantastic! Our food was amazing, and we will be back again and again!

The food is quite good for TexMex cuisine. The portions are on the large side for the cost, which is already reasonable for a family restaurant. They have good margaritas, though the house margarita is a little generic. Can get busy on Friday and Saturday night, as should be expected. Weekdays and lunches are usually a breeze.

Amazing place with great vibes! Beer is cold food is amazing and the staff is friendly. Have been searching for a restaurant with a molcajete plate in Colorado since forever and finally found one!!! Will for sure be my go to and top recommendation for people looking for good Mexican food and not the usual tex mex.

I came here from Kansas, which believe it or not has the absolute best Mexican food in the country. Ever since I moved here Seventeen years ago I've been on a quest to find good Mexican food and after having visited over 200 Mexican restaurants I had given up hope. It is not hyperbole for me to say that this restaurant is the best Mexican food in Colorado. Everything on the menu that I've had here is incredible. They even have a wonderful cheese sauce for dipping chips him and putting on your food, which is one of the things all of the other Mexican restaurants in Colorado Lack. The few of them that actually have a cheese dip of some sort typically aren't very good or put lots of vegetables which makes it no longer a cheese sauce. Anyway, no need to go into detail I will just simply say if you like Mexican food this is the place to go. Do it

I read an article about this place that sparked my interest and decided to give it a try. The food is excellent and very flavorful and the portions are huge. My partner had a small combo plate and she was unable to finish it. I had the Tacos de Carnitas that had more meat than tortillas that needed no toppings or sauce. Outstanding. I ended up eating way more than I should have because it was just so good. I would definitely come here again.

The perfect place to be on a cold snowy night. Margaritas are delicious and the food so flavorful!

Wonderful chicken mole, fast service and love mariachi on Fridays. It was a lovely experience and I have become a regular customer!

If I could give 10 STARS, I totally would!! We stumbled onto this place & are so very glad that we did! Kinda pricey, but SOOOOOO worth it. The food did NOT disappoint! The margaritas were ridiculously GIANT & exceptionally tasty. We sat at the bar & Martin (pronounced: Mar-teen) was our bartender. He was super friendly & knowledgeable of the menu. We definitely recommend this place!!!!!

Another great experience at vaqueros last night! I am gluten intolerant and my husband is dairy intolerant… Our waitress was more than happy to accommodate our needs and she educated me that their green sauce has no flour in it and they are able to make burritos using a couple of corn tortillas rather than the traditional flour tortilla! For those of us who are gluten intolerant, this is very exciting! It opens up so many more options on the menu! Can't say enough good things about this place.

Very nice place, decent drinks, food was not that great. Shrimp on the fajitas was burnt, I'm gonna be nice and leave 4 stars hoping my next visit is better. You guys need to focus on your menu, there is no reason to serve small burnt shrimp. Prices are a little high.

The place offers a nice range of delicious food. I liked dining here. Staff members are always friendly, rates are reasonable and the spot is always kept clean.

The fajita burrito was good enough. Our waiter was a little pushy with happy hour drink specials to drive up the check and my water sat empty. I'll likely give it another try though.

We loved the ambiance of the restaurant. We had a but if a wait, no big deal, and our hostess who seated us was very apologetic and friendly. Unfortunately our server was not. She was rude, made no eye contact with us as she took our order, when our order came it came out in two passes, not altogether, and wasn't delivered to our table by our server. When she did finally come out after the meal was set down, we had to ask for place settings as there were none at our table upon being seated. After that we did not see her again until she delivered the check. The food was delicious; but if that young lady is representative of the service, we won't visit again.

Delicious food, awesome portion sizes, a bit on the expensive side but I would go back there again. Loved it!

My new favorite Mexican restaurant!! Being from Texas it is so hard to find a true Mexican restaurant here in the Springs! Most are New Mexican restaurants that are ehhh. Having tripas here makes me so biased!!! I also tried their sour cream enchiladas and they are amazing! (Only get chicken, beef does not taste as good)

Certainly a place worth stopping over, the food is awesome and fresh, the cost is affordable and it is constantly well organized there. Keep it up.

Great atmosphere and food was pretty good. So far the closest we can find to our favorite Mexican place in Kansas. We ate at the bar because the dining room was full. Service was a little lacking but I can’t really blame him as he was the only bartender. Salsa was too hot for my liking and I really enjoy spicy food.

Friendly service and good food! Really liked this place and will definitely be back... We only got the ceviche appetizer, but looking forward to trying other entrees!

Everything from the decor to the food everything was great. The portions were great. There beans are one of the best I’ve had in town. For two people the price was pretty decent as well especially with how big the portions are. I enjoyed the food very much also the menu has so many options to chose from. Will definitely eat here again.

By far, the best Mexican cuisine in Colorado SpringsGREAT DRINKS, HIGH QUALITY FOOD AND EXCELLENT SERVICE. Im from New Mexico, and I KNOW I’m so picky with Mexican food. There’s some good places to get like tacos or breakfast burritos in Colorado Springs but a lot of people think places are good here but they are just ok — many places are overated online here because people aren’t picky. Vaqueros had extremely high caliber carne asada and their molcajete was SUPERB. I’m so sick and tired of mediocre Mexican food here and I finally found my spot!!

Best mexican restaurant we've ever been to. Delicious, high quality food with fast and friendly service. And the menu is very diverse. A breath of fresh air from all the "On The Borders" of the world.

Usually great food only ok not hot just warm today seemed like out of microwave instead of fresh . I like this place just disappointed this time

We just moved to Colorado Springs 3 months ago and we are so happy to have found this place. My husband and I come here at least once a week and everything we have ever tried has been amazing. We're so lucky to have found our favorite place!

Man this place is awesome if you like authentic Mexican food this is the place to visit. A great atmosphere music isn't to loud process is good I mean a must have if your just visiting like myself or actually live close by I would not mind an hour or 2 drive to have the food. Amazing amazing place.

Food is really good! Pleasant environment as well, only downside is the Margaritas are extremely watered down. Go for the food, it's fantastic, just not the drinks.

I was looking around and found them behind the Kim and Go off Briargate Parkway. The enchilada-plate-carry out was large, about a 9 x 14 size, an delicious. The stop was quick. I’ll go back.

Fairly authentic. Having grown up in southern Texas, I would say they are more authentic than many places I've tried around here. But the flan was weird and chunky. I'm not sure where they learned to make flan but I've never had it like that before, and I grew up with Mexican families.
